I woke up this morning to my mom standing in the doorway of my bedroom smiling. I sat up and went straight for the window. I already had a guess as to what it was by the gray light that had managed to bypass the corners of my curtains. Pulling them back my suspicion was comfirmed.

It was snowing.

She knew it had been my Thanksgiving wish.

I love you, mom.
